伦敦大学学院

University College London，建校于1826年，与牛津大学、剑桥大学、帝国理工学院和伦敦政治经济学院并称为G5院校，也是继牛津、剑桥大学之后，英格兰第三古老的大学。

一踏进学校，你就能感到古老的建筑给你带来的厚重气息，学院更是拥有九大博物馆，收藏着文物，缅怀历史。但是UCL又处于伦敦的中心繁华地带，再加上UCL自身科学技术发展水平相当高，古老的建筑与现代化的技术完美的在这里碰撞、融合了。

作为鼎鼎大名的英国G5大学UCL，也有自己的烦恼，他经常会因为中文名“伦敦大学学院”，而不被国内大众看好。其实，UCL在1826年始建时，还叫伦敦大学。1836年与“伦敦的国王学院”一起成立了伦敦大学联盟，UCL正式更名为“伦敦大学学院”。

小编要在这里大声的说：虽然我们的大名里带了个“学院”二字，但我们牛着呢！UCL是英国规模最大、学科最广的大学。其经济学与伦敦政治经济学院 (LSE)的经济学被誉为英国当今经济学的双子星，在世界范围内名列前茅。
